Many members members who attend the Club's annual Spring Training in Asheville, NC layover in Lexington, KY on the trip south. Those that do spend the night here often stay at the Days Inn Lexington South, and the telephone number for the hotel's front desk is 859-263-3100. The usual plan is to leave home on the Wednesday of the week of the trip, and then spent Wednesday night in Lexington, Kentucky. The following morning Club members then ride a customary route through the area's horse country. A map of the course typically ridden in Lexington can be found here, which is a link to Map My Ride.
