Team Toledo Expo
The Team Toledo Triathlon Club is holding their annual Multisport Fitness Expo on Saturday, February 11th from 9am to 1pm.  This year's event is being held at the Fallen Timber's Middle School located at 6119 Finzel Rd. in Whitehouse.

Spring Training in Asheville
The dates for this year's Club trip to Asheville are April 20th - 23rd.  As is tradition, many folks will depart in later portion of the day on Wednesday, April 19th to drive to Lexington.  The next morning, Thursd
ay, April 20th, they will ride the customary route through horse country before making the remainder of the jaunt to Asheville.  Later this month Scott will book a block of rooms in both Lexington and Asheville, and the details will then be posted on the website.

Equinox
The Club's decades-old and languishingly wretched early season event known as Equinox will be held on Sunday, March 19th.  Although it has yet to be confirmed, the Wheelmen's spring trash pick-up will probably be the day before Equinox--Saturday, March 18th.

Race Team Meeting
Nick has scheduled a meeting for the Club's Race Team.  Interested in Racing with the Wheelmen in 2017? Whether you are interested in racing the Club series or racing under the Wheelmen Racing Team in USA Cycling races, this meeting is for you. Stop by CycleWerks in Whitehouse on Friday, January 20th from 6-7:30 to learn more and chat about the 2017 season.

The Club's USAC Membership
The MVW may not show on the USAC website as having renewed its USAC Club membership.  Rest assured the membership has been renewed, but due to an option I selected in the renewal process (which is way too lengthy and far too obfuscatory to explain here), the Club won't display as active for another ten days or so.  My suggestion is to delay renewing your USAC license until the issue is resolved; following this admonishment will forestall a litany of USAC bureaucratic bungles in being issued a licensed as an unattached rider.  My apologies for the blunder; had I known it would create such an administrative absurdity, I would have omitted the option.
