The 60 folks who celebrated the 2001 club racing season at this year's banquet gave a big "Thanks" to Treasurer and Wheelman Of The Year, Steve Sams. The event at The Maumee Bay Brewing Co. November 8, 2001 was one to remember. The convivial crowd nicely filled the private dining room at the Brewery. Folks were uncharacteristically complimentary about the menu.
Steve's PowerPoint presentation formed a backdrop for Master of Ceremonies Zack Clark's awards ceremony. The awards were dominated by Senior Matt Thourot, Club Champion, Time Trial Champion, 1st place Senior and 2002 Race Director. Rotating trophies also went to Most Improved Rider Brent Teall and Sprint Champion Pio Apostoli.
