This fourteenth race of the Maumee Valley Wheelmen Club Race Series is a joint race with Team Defiance. Team Defiance is a bicycle racing club from the greater Defiance area. Their members have been active participants in our events for the past couple of years. The Defiance Boys wanted to return the favor of racing and suffering by inviting the Wheelmen to a road race in their part of NWO. Click for a map of the area.

No MVW workers are needed for this race. The event is being organized, run and USAC permitted by Team Defiance. All the Wheelmen need do is show up and race hard. Note the start time is 7:00pm to allow for a longer drive time.

Course length is 3.4 miles. The race venue is located approximately 3 miles south of Evansport, Ohio. The course starts at the Stever Rd and Schultz Rd intersection. The route heads north on Stever Rd for about 1/4 mile and then turns right onto Gruber Rd. Gruber Rd is traveled only a short distance before turning left onto Gares Rd. Gares Rd is ridden for approximately 1 mile, and at the first intersection a right turn is made onto Christy Rd. Christy Rd is then traveled for 1-1/2 miles before turning right onto Schultz Rd. A twisty 1 mile on Schultz Rd returns the race to the start.
